UNHCR 駐日事務所では、法務部インターンを募集しております。
  (週5日勤務 × 4ヶ月間、または週4日勤務 × 約6ヶ月間)
  勤務時間:平日9:30−17:30  土日休み

  - 大学院在学中又は大学院卒業した方(大学在学中、もしくは既卒者も背景等により考慮)
  - 難民問題に強い関心のある方 (関連の分野を専攻していれば尚可)
  - 日本語と英語に堪能であること
  - UNHCRの服務規程 (Code of Conduct) 及び守秘義務を遵守できる方
  - 事務業務に必要なパソコン・スキルがあること(エクセルによる表計算等ができれば尚可)

UNHCR Representation in Japan Internship Programme (Protection Unit)

UNHCR Representation in Japan is seeking interns for its Protection Unit who will assist the work of the Office.
In principle, total 96 working days or more (preferably up to 6 months; 5 days per week for 4 months / 4 days per week for 6 months)
Working hours: Weekdays 9:30-17:30; Weekends office closed

【Qualifications & Criteria】
Eligible candidates will fulfill the following criteria:
- In principle, preference given to those who have completed or are enrolled in graduate/higher degree programmes (current or completed undergraduate students may be considered depending on qualifications);
- A keen interest in refugee issues (and an educational background in relevant areas an asset);
- Fluency in Japanese and good English language skills, both written and spoken;
- Adhere to the UNHCR code of conduct including confidentiality regarding all activities and tasks undertaken; and
- Good knowledge of MS Office programs and Internet applications (knowledge in excel with the ability to use macro calculations or other applications a further advantage).

1. Cover letter (no longer than one A4 page in length) in English, indicating below 4 points:
1) Reason for applying and why you think you are a suitable candidate for the intern position;
2) A possible starting date (refer to “Starting Date” above);
3) Planned ending date; and
4) Confirmation of availability to work for 96 days (refer strictly to criteria in “Duration” above) to complete the program;
